The Case Cavallini Sgarbi, once Casa Ariosti, is where the young poet lived and wrote the very first draft of the Orlando Furioso (The Frenzy of Orlando), but also where he performed his first comedies and poetic compositions. In this mansion, in Via Giuoco del Pallone in Ferrara, Ariosto is back, or better he is reinvented by / into the sign of Tullio Pericoli.
We surprise the artist from the Marches, the heart and soul of Ariosto, in a graffito, prepared in the ancient way by Bortolo Reduzzi.
And the camera follos the signs made by Pericoli on the white wall, where the face of Ariosto – Raphaelian, the face glimpsed in the Stanza della Segnatura – takes shape in a wood of punctuation marks, commas, inverted commas, between a literary workshop and a mistery workshop.
