BELLE DI NOTTE-
2003 / 33’
- direction by Elisabetta Sgarbi
- photography by Elio Bisignani
- editing by Luciano Marenzoni
This time, the wandering of the protagonists takes place entirely inside the Collection Pamphili. When a shower causes a temporary suspension of electric light , Vittorio Sgarbi takes film director Luciano Emmer through the Collection, which he himself brought to life. It is dark everywhere, only the shining eye of a torch is guiding the two of them, through the discovery of those people who once have been carved and painted and now are looming in this new night reverie. A relentlessly wide-open eye makes us (ultra)see, we can see better.
