Antonio Stagnoli and Pino Roveredo. A painter and a writer. Antonio Stagnoli has been deaf-mute since he was a little boy. Pino Roveredo had deaf-mute parents.
Both vexed by the harms of life, they found their redemption through Art, that made them fall in love once again with that very life. In front of the camera, but most of the time forgetting it, they try to tell each other their stories, through words and through gestures, starting from the place both of them come from, silence.
Thus under the light of a tacit sharing, in the studio of Stagnoli at Bagolino, memories of them both take shape: lovers, families, victories and defeats, friends and those who looked so, great History and the smaller one, patrons and critics. And, above all, art.
